Working Experience

Ir. Ts. Dr. Nurul Islam Mohamed Yusoff has over 17 years of leadership, engineering, operations, and corporate management experience across the healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, agribusiness, public sector, and international business development industries.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of KMI Healthcare, he served as Head of Operations, where he led operational excellence initiatives, hospital performance improvement, digital transformation, and strategic expansion projects across the Group. Before joining KMI Healthcare, he was Head of Global Development at Chicken Cottage UK, driving international business growth and franchise expansion across multiple markets.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Nurul Islam held several senior leadership positions, including Head of Plantation Division at TDM Berhad, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Rubber Council, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Terengganu Strategic & Integrity Institute, and Non-Executive Director of several private companies, where he provided strategic oversight, corporate governance, and business direction. He also built a strong engineering and operational foundation through management roles at Pos Malaysia, Puncak Niaga, and Hicom Yamaha Manufacturing.
