Secures hospital’s area and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting building, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Professional intervention in safeguarding hospitals asset including staff by way of reporting or engagement.
Monitor and control entrance/ departure of employees/ visitors according to set protocol.
Protect property and tenants from theft, damage, trespassing or accidents.
Identify and investigate suspicious behaviour, threats, and irregular activity.
Respond to alarms and requests for helps.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing authorities, violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Prepare written reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Inspect and test fire or/and security systems.
Inspect premises windows and doors to ensure locks are in place and working.
Controls traffic by directing vehicles/ drivers to designated areas.
Implement the set emergency plan in case of any emergency.
Monitor the CCTV in control room.
Assist Staff Nurse to bring the deceased, down to mortuary from related unit (ward and/or ICU) and assist next of kin to lodge a police report when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum SPM or equivalent that is granted by the management.
Age 28 – 45 years old.
Minimum 2 years of working experience as Security Guard; hospitality industry setting is an advantage. Excellent customer service.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. High integrity, meticulous, organised, and good interpersonal skills.
Experience in security forces or a uniformed body is an advantage.
