Job Description

Primary Function(s):
 To ensure all imaging request form is properly and fully filled.
 To ensure that the imaging request is properly registered and charged.
 To ensure that the correct patient is being examined.
 To ensure that proper care of patient is observe before, during and after the imaging procedure.
 To ensure a properly clean, safe, precise and quality imaging procedure is carried out.
 To ensure patient be given the correct report and directed to the precise station.
 To ensure all the imaging procedures are being carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
 To ensure that proper treatment and communications with the patients at all times.
 To ensure that all the assigned jobs be carried out in a timely and precise manner.
 To assist Imaging manager in monitoring and managing stocks and inventories in imaging department.
 To raise PO for running low items when required.

Secondary Function(s):
 To assist in proper report filling of the imaging reports to facilitate report retrieval when required.
 To assist in retrieving the report when required.
 To assist in giving appointment to the patient.
 To assist in registering the patients when needed.
 To assist in transmitting Fomema report on line.
 To assist in organizing and prepare films to be sent to fomema.
 To ensure clean environment and services provided to the patient at all time.


Essential Characteristics

 To have excellent practical skill, ability to relate to and sympathize with a wide range of people
Problem Solving:
 Able to identify the problem (physical difficulties) and solve them with proper technical modifications with the least patient’s discomfort. Most important take preventive action as not to give rise to the problem.
Know How:
 Through working experience and knowledge.
Customer Interaction (Internal and/or external):
 Both internal and external


Qualification and Experience:
 Must have at least a diploma in imaging.
 Good practical skills
 Ability to relate to and empathize with people.
 Good team working skills
 Physical fitness
 Problem-solving skills
