Our Story: From 2013 till Now
Since 2013, we expanded our healthcare services by growing facilities, increasing bed capacity, adding advanced medical technologies, acquiring new hospitals, and earning multiple quality and excellence awards. In 2025, we became the first private provider of oncology services on the East Coast.
Obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification for healthcare quality at KMI Kelana Jaya and Taman Desa Medical Centres.
Completed the new building for KMI Kuantan Medical Centre
Officially opened new building of KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre
Launched Catheterization Lab at Kuantan Medical Centre
Increased hospital bed capacity to 419, while KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre became the first private hospital in Terengganu offering Interventional Cardiology services with the launch of its Cath Lab.
Underwent a corporate rebranding with a new logo and acquired Tawau Specialist Hospital
KMI Kuantan Medical Centre attained Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) accreditation
Received multiple awards including Best Brand, signed an MoU with SEDC Perlis for healthcare development, officially launched our fifth private hospital, KMI Tawau Medical Centre
Named Community Specialist Hospital of the Year in Malaysia by Global Health Asia Pacific and Industry Excellence Award (KMI Kuala Terengganu) by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).
