Your Safety, Our Priority
We implement comprehensive safety measures to protect our staff, patients, and visitors at all times.
Your health, comfort, and safety are our top priorities. Here are some important guidelines to ensure a secure and pleasant experience during your stay or visit.
Hand Hygiene
- Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly—especially before eating and after using the toilet.
- You’ll find hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the hospital. Please use them freely.
Infection Prevention
- If you have symptoms like fever, cough, or flu, let our staff know right away.
- Wear a mask if advised, and avoid close contact with others if you’re unwell.
- Limit the number of visitors to ensure your safety and the well-being of other patients
Fall Prevention
- Always ask for help if you feel weak or dizzy when moving or walking.
- Use the nurse call bell if you need assistance getting out of bed or going to the bathroom.
- Wear non-slip footwear at all times.
Electrical and Equipment Safety
- Please don’t touch or adjust any medical equipment.
- Let us know if you notice any damaged equipment or exposed wires.
Medication Safety
- Only take medications given by your nurse or doctor. Inform staff about any allergies or medications you’re already taking.
- If something doesn’t look right with your medicine—please speak up.

Room and Visitor Safety
- Keep your personal items secure and within reach.For your safety, please do not leave the ward without informing the nurse.
- Visiting hours and rules may vary—ask our team for details.
Fire & Emergency Safety
- In the event of a fire or emergency, remain calm and follow staff instructions.
- Do not use elevators during an evacuation.
- Emergency exits are clearly marked—take note of the nearest one to your room.
Personal Belongings
- We recommend keeping valuables at home. If needed, ask about safe storage options.
- Label all personal items to avoid mix-ups.

- If you see something unsafe, or if you’re unsure about anything related to your care, please let our team know.
