Hand Hygiene
- Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly—especially before eating and after using the toilet.
- You’ll find hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the hospital. Please use them freely.
Infection Prevention
- If you have symptoms like fever, cough, or flu, let our staff know right away.
- Wear a mask if advised, and avoid close contact with others if you’re unwell.
- Limit the number of visitors to ensure your safety and the well-being of other patients
Fall Prevention
- Always ask for help if you feel weak or dizzy when moving or walking.
- Use the nurse call bell if you need assistance getting out of bed or going to the bathroom.
- Wear non-slip footwear at all times.
Electrical and Equipment Safety
- Please don’t touch or adjust any medical equipment.
- Let us know if you notice any damaged equipment or exposed wires.
Medication Safety
- Only take medications given by your nurse or doctor. Inform staff about any allergies or medications you’re already taking.
- If something doesn’t look right with your medicine—please speak up.

- In the event of a fire or emergency, remain calm and follow staff instructions.
- Do not use elevators during an evacuation.
- Emergency exits are clearly marked—take note of the nearest one to your room.
Personal Belongings
- We recommend keeping valuables at home. If needed, ask about safe storage options.
- Label all personal items to avoid mix-ups.
