How to Start Your Admission Process
We understand that coming into hospital can be a worrying time. This guide explains what to do and what to prepare, step by step.
Admission Made Easy
Step 1: Go to the correct admission point
During operating hours (Monday to Saturday, 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM)
Go to the Registration Counter at the main lobby to register and begin admission.
After operating hours, weekends, or public holidays
Proceed to the 24-hour Accident & Emergency Department for registration/admission.
Step 2: Get your doctor’s recommendation
Admission is based on the attending doctor’s recommendation for treatment and/or surgery.
Step 3: Prepare the required documents
Bring the following documents to avoid delays:
- MyKad / MyKid (Malaysian citizens) or Passport (international visitors)
- Letter of Guarantee from your employer or insurance company (if applicable)
- Referral letter (if referred by your GP/family doctor)
- Relevant medical records (if available) — e.g. medical reports, X-rays, MRI/scan films, lab results
Step 4: Complete admission forms and confirm deposit
Upon admission, you or your guardian will complete the admission forms.
Our admission officers will advise the deposit amount.
You have the right to know the estimated cost of hospitalisation. Please verify the estimate with your attending doctor.
Important Notes:
What to bring (personal items)
- Personal toiletries (admission pack available upon request)
- Personal clothing
For maternity admissions: baby clothing and a wrapping blanket
What not to bring
- Personal electrical appliances (e.g. radio, kettle, easy chair)
- Excess cash or valuables (e.g. jewellery, watches)
Note: Hospital management is not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables kept in your room.
