High Dependency Unit
The High Dependency Unit (HDU) at our medical centre provides specialized care for patients who require close monitoring and more intensive support than a general ward.
Equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by experienced doctors and trained nurses, the HDU ensures continuous observation, timely interventions, and personalized care. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment that promotes recovery while giving patients and families peace of mind.
Focused Recovery, Exceptional Care
Located on Level 2 of KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre, our High-Dependency Unit (HDU) provides a higher level of care than a general ward, yet not as intensive as that offered in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It is ideally suited for patients recovering from major surgery or those requiring close monitoring due to single-organ failure.
