A Holter test, also known as a Holter monitor test, is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure used to continuously record a patient’s heart activity (electrocardiogram or ECG) over 24 to 48 hours, or sometimes longer. It is typically used when symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, or fainting are intermittent and not captured during a standard ECG in a clinic or hospital.

The test involves wearing a small, portable device connected to electrodes placed on the chest. Patients are encouraged to go about their normal daily activities while the device monitors the heart’s rhythm. The recorded data helps doctors detect irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias), assess the effectiveness of heart medications, or investigate symptoms that may be linked to heart problems.

Reporting Turnaround Time:
24 hours: For submissions made Monday to Thursday (data submitted after the assessment period).
Following Monday: For submissions made on Friday or Saturday.

Refundable Deposit: RM200.00 (mandatory upon device fitting)

Note: Effective 1st July 2025, a 6% Sales and Service Tax (SST) will be applicable to all foreign patients. Accordingly, the total bill amount will be subject to an additional 6% SST.
