JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs a variety of technical laboratory procedures according to Medical Centre's laboratory to obtain patient specimens to ensure specimen quality used to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Adherence to all set procedures, methodology of testing and Standard Operating Procedures of ISO 9001 and other relevant certification;
• Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
• All experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.).
• Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
• Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
• Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
• Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Ordering laboratory supplies, as needed.
• Providing technical support, when necessary.
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
   

REQUIREMENT:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology /Advance Certificate in MLT or equivalent with related field.
• Minimum 1-2 year of work experience especially in Microbiology field.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
• Able to perform Phlebotomy an advantage.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Shift hour’s duty.
