Authorities:

• Dispense medication to the patients.
• Perform a variety of services related to the daily operation of a pharmacy under the guidance and supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Nature and Scope

• Prepare and supply the correct medication for in-patient and out-patient patients in the correct quantity and on time as prescribed by the consultants and medical officers.
• Record all Poison dispensed out in the poison BOOK as required by the Poison Regulation.
• Check on the expiry dates of medications to update the supervisor on nearly expired items for further action.
• Responsible to perform work assignments to ensure smooth daily operation.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a related field.
• Able to communicate effectively and work independently
• Able to work shifts and overtime.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, dependable, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
