CANCER SCREEN PROMO 2024 

Effective from: 15th Jan 2024 until 29th Feb 2024 

Testing for cancer (or abnormal cells that may become cancer) in people who have no symptoms is called screening. Several screening tests have been shown to detect cancer early and reduce the risk of dying from it.

We have designed four cancer screening packages that are able to check for:

• Liver
• Colon
• Stomach
• Cervix (female only)
• Breast (female only)
• Ovaries (female only)
• Prostate (male only)
• Testicles (male only)

The screening are carried out via blood serum, ultrasound and smear assessments which are relatively simple procedures.

𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 2 to 3 hours

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: 2 hours (male package); 7-14 days (female package- due to culturing process for pap test/liquid based cytology).

Terms and conditions:

• Fasting 6 hours is required for Ultrasound Full Abdomen- only plain water is allowed.
• To schedule your Pap test (liquid based cytology) in the middle of your menstrual cycle – between 10 and 20 days after the first day of your period.
• Female cancer markers include: CEA, CA 125, CA 15.3, CA 19.9, AFP. Male cancer markers include: CEA, CA 19.9, AFP, PSA and hCG.
• Mammogram for 40 years old and above; Breast Ultrasound -for below 40 years old.
• Add On assessment is available upon request.
• Packages listed above exclusively under the care of Medical Officer in the wellness centre only.
