KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) - TDM Bhd's healthcare arm Kumpulan Medic Iman Sdn Bhd (KMI Healthcare) today entered into a share sale agreement (SSA) with Hospital Bersalin Razif (HBR) for the acquisition of 100 per cent equity interest in HBR by the group.
HBR is a 35-bed maternity hospital with over 20 years presence in Klang, Selangor, and upon completion of the acquisition, it will be the sixth hospital under the chain of KMI Healthcare through its brownfield expansion.
TDM chairman Tengku Datuk Seri Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil said the signing of the SSA between KMI Healthcare and HBR marks another milestone for the group and will bring more catalyst for the group to continue to thrive.
"KMI Healthcare takes pride in being one of the fastest growing business divisions under the investment wing of TDM," he said during the KMI Healthcare Appreciation Dinner 2023 today.
KMI Healthcare currently manages five community specialist hospitals located in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Terengganu and Sabah.
